Join our dynamic team as a Shipper & Receiver! In this essential role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments to ensure they meet our standards for accuracy and quality. You willresolve any discrepancies, shortages, damages, or returns in partnership with vendors and internal teams and record entries in inventory management system.

In addition, you will manage the transfer of outgoing shipments to third-party carriers, operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, and leverage relevant systems and technology to support our daily operations. Properhandling, storage, and product rotation in compliance with company procedures and food safety regulations is necessary.

Candidates must have prior experience as a Shipper & Receiver. We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work, show initiative, and possess a robust work ethic. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning, thrives in a cooperative environment, and has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Receives, inspects and verifies incoming shipment for accuracy, quality
- Reports and resolves shipment discrepancies, shortages, damages and returns
- Oversees the hand-over of outgoing deliveries to third-party shipping companies
- Ensures products are handled, stored and rotated according to company procedures

Must Have

- Prior experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong mental mathand computer skills




- Ability to work in warm and cold environments
- Electric Pump Jack License
- Safely lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work independently in a rapid paced environment

Nice to Have

- Previous grocery store receiving experience
- Knowledge of food safety and temperature-control requirements
- Odoo software experience

Shipper/Receiver Pay Range: $18.80/hr - $23.45/hr
