Engage children in exciting activities as a Camp Counsellor for the March Break Camp at various Ajax locations. This temporary position focuses on planning diverse programs for kids aged 2.5-16.
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you will implement safe and enjoyable activities during the camp week. You will work cooperatively with team members, parents, and participants, ensuring a positive experience for all. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are essential in maintaining schedules and completing administrative tasks on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement diverse camp programs
• Ensure safety and well-being of participants
• Maintain open communication with parents and colleagues




• Conduct daily site checks and prepare necessary supplies
• Lead activities and maintain a positive camp setting
Requirements:
• Minimum age 16 by March 2, 2027
• Current First Aid and CPR C certification
• HIGH FIVE certification by March 2, 2027
• Clear Criminal Reference/Vulnerable Sector check
• Availability for March Break and training dates
