Job Summary

The incumbent is responsible for the general cleanliness of the day to day kitchen operations. This includes putting away food and beverage orders, sweeping/mopping, proper disposal of garbage and recycling, cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen counters.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
Clean garbage cans with water or steam
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
Prepare and package individual place settings
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
Receive and store supplies
Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars




Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks

Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly with peers and subordinates
Ability to manage their time effectively with little supervision
Ability to work as a team member, understanding the priorities of others
Able to bend, stretch, sit and stand for long periods. Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
Ability to work adaptable schedule and weekends
Available for call-ins
