Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting while contributing to a beloved local eatery.

Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation quality
Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Cut whole chicken into pieces for marination so it can be cooked.
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating,



and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple orders with accuracy
Ensure all food service procedures comply with health regulations and safety guidelines

Skills

Solid knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions precisely
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
