House Manager / Personal Support Worker

Private Household | Part Time

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced House Manager / Personal Support Worker to manage the daily operations of a private home and provide respectful care for a gentleman with early-stage dementia.

Schedule

This is a part time position of approximately 20 hours per week. The regular schedule will include Saturdays, so Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Household Management
Perform light cleaning, tidying, laundry, and general household upkeep.
Prepare nutritious daily meals for five family members.
Manage grocery shopping and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
Coordinate basic household maintenance when needed.

Personal Support and Caregiving
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support mobility and administer medications as directed.
Provide companionship and respectful emotional support.




Observe and report health or behavioural changes to the family or healthcare team.

Pet Care
Care for two small dogs and two parrots, including feeding and light cleaning.

Requirements
Experience in private home care and household management.
Robust cooking skills and the ability to prepare meals for a family of five.
Familiarity with dementia care is a strong asset.
Comfortable performing light cleaning and caring for pets.
Reliable, discreet, compassionate, and organized.
Solid communication skills.
Must be available to work approximately 20 hours per week, including Saturdays.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
