ASB Heating Elements Ltd. is a leading Canadian manufacturer of custom industrial heating elements and process heating solutions. We produce precision parts and custom components in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

We are seeking a CNC Programmer and Operator with experience programming and operating HAAS CNC machines using G-code. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with custom and production parts.

Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC machines using G-code.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and engineering specifications.
Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job.
Perform offsets, tool changes, and machine adjustments as needed.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or setup corrections.




Maintain quality, safety, and organization in the shop.

Qualifications
3+ years of CNC programming and operating experience preferred.
Strong experience with HAAS controls and G-code programming.
Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
CAM software experience is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
