Eye Care Technician & Dry Eye Consultant

Location: Ophthalmology clinic

Training: Provided on the job—previous dry eye experience is not required.

We are looking for a friendly, confident, and organized individual to meet with patients, coordinate appointments, and consult with patients about our dry eye treatment packages. Robust interpersonal and consulting skills are essential. We can teach you everything you need to know about dry eye on the job.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and build trusting relationships.

Meet with patients to understand their concerns and goals.

Schedule and book consultations, treatments, and follow-up appointments.

Learn about dry eye symptoms, treatments, and available packages.

Explain clinician-recommended treatment packages, pricing, and what patients can expect.

Sell dry eye packages by helping patients make informed decisions.

Follow up with interested patients and answer questions within your training.

Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality.





Work closely with the ophthalmology team to provide a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid consulting skills, including listening, explaining options, and building confidence.

Comfort discussing pricing and selling treatment packages.

Robust organization and attention to detail.

A compassionate, professional approach to patient care.

Willingness to learn and follow clinic procedures.

Experience in customer service, consulting, sales, or a healthcare setting is an asset. Eye care and dry eye knowledge can be learned on the job.
