At Bennington Heights, we are seeking an experienced RECE that is dedicated to providing high quality child care. We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive teacher, that wants to actively participate in the growth/expansion of the centre.

The role of the Child Care Teacher is to foster and facilitate the academic and social development of the children. The teacher will provide a secure and developmentally appropriate program for all children in accordance with all relevant policies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement a complete program of activities - following How Does Learning Happen? And ELECT
Provide quality care and care-giving activities
Use a variety of activities and methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide all necessary information
Assess/analyze children’s performance and progress,



ensuring they are on the correct developmental path (course correct when required)
Comply with all teaching standards and safety regulations
Maintain a safe and healthy environment

QUALIFICATION:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
Proven working experience as a childcare teacher
Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices
Creative and artistic teaching abilities
Organizational skills
Patience and adaptability
Solid communication, stress and time management skills
Certified in First Aid and CPR
