We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to execute day-to-day marketing and support sales activity at Okanagan Lakefront Resort, keeping our online presence current, supporting group/wedding/ special occasion inquiries, and helping fill rooms through the slower months. This is an in office role based at the resort, and it also cross-trains as front desk backup coverage.

Key responsibilities
Maintain and post to social media channels on a regular content calendar
Keep OTA listings, photos and rates up to date across booking channels
Respond to and follow up on group, wedding and corporate inquiries, and support the booking process
Assist with email marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions
Show rooms to prospects or partners and upsell or upgrades where relevant.
Support basic reporting (inquiry volume, booking pace) for the Manager or GM
Help coordinate on-site events, photo shoots and promotional activities
Cross-train on the PMS and front desk procedures; cover front desk shifts as scheduled, especially during vacations or short-staffed periods




Actively follow local events and community happenings to keep our promotions and partnerships current and stay up to date with the industry

Qualifications
1 year of experience in hospitality, retail, administration or marketing support; internship experience will be considered
Comfortable with social media tools, basic email marketing platforms, and guest-facing work
Familiarity with Cloudbeds or another hotel booking system preferred; training will be provided
Solid organization and follow-through; comfortable switching between marketing tasks and front desk coverage
Hospitality experience or willingness to train on front office procedures
An active, creative person who genuinely enjoys working in the hospitality industry

Pay: $23.50-$26.00 per hour
