Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Hair Stylist to join our energetic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair styling services, deliver outstanding customer care, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clients. Your creativity and technical skills will help clients look and feel their best while supporting our salon’s reputation for excellence.
Duties
Perform skilled hair styling services including cuts, colour, highlights, and updos with precision and creativity
Engage with clients to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client results and satisfaction
Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering inquiries
Foster excellent communication with clients to ensure a positive experience from consultation to completion
Stay informed about current trends and techniques to continually elevate the quality of services offered
Requirements
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client needs
Robust organizational skills for managing appointments and front desk duties
Retail sales experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license as per local regulations
