Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandwich Maker to join our agile food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and other menu items in a quick-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a friendly and supportive team.

Duties
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with health regulations
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times




Support team members during busy periods by performing various kitchen tasks as needed
Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Experience
Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Experience in cashiering, serving, or restaurant operations is advantageous
Solid time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings
