JSTEM TUTOREX is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Chemistry Tutor to support high school students. We are ideally looking for a bilingual tutor who can teach in both English and French.

The ideal candidate has a robust Chemistry background, tutoring or teaching experience, and familiarity with the Ontario curriculum.

Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one tutoring in high school Chemistry.
Explain concepts clearly and help students develop conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
Identify and address gaps in foundational knowledge.
Support students with course material, assignments, test/exam preparation, and study strategies.
Adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
Provide feedback on student progress when required.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience tutoring or teaching high school Chemistry.
Familiarity with the Ontario high school Chemistry curriculum is strongly preferred.




Ability to teach in both English and French is strongly preferred.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with online teaching and learning tools.
Reliable, organized, and committed to student success.
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is an asset.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
