This two-year term position is a hybrid role based primarily in Edmonton. The Pension Benefits Advisor oversees benefit plan enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accurate and timely support for employees. You will provide essential consultation, education, and advice regarding pension options, employee eligibility, and benefits claims for diverse life events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advice on pension and benefits plans to employees
• Manage daily event maintenance and enrollment processes
• Enroll employees in optional benefits promptly




• Support employees during significant life changes affecting benefits
• Collaborate with third-party benefit providers to resolve issues
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• 2-4 years of experience with pension plans
• Knowledge of UAPP, PSPP, or similar plans
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM advantageous
• Solid communication skills for client interactions
