This role requires a deep understanding of character art workflows, advanced rigging techniques, and proficiency in scripting and engine integration. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement advanced character rigs, ensuring realistic deformation and flexibility.
- Optimize character models and textures for real-time rendering, balancing visual quality with performance.
- Collaborate closely with character artists and animators to troubleshoot rigging and skinning issues.
- Integrate character assets into the game engine, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Develop tools and scripts to automate and improve character art and rigging pipelines.




- Stay up-to-date with the latest character technology and techniques in the industry.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Artist , with a focus on character development.
- Expertise in character rigging, skinning, and animation principles using software like Maya.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL) for pipeline automation.
- Strong understanding of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and their character systems.
- Experience with character modeling and texturing software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.
