Duties
Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including ingredient prep and portioning under supervision
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, floors, and storage spaces
Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and presentation as needed
Properly handle and store food items according to safety guidelines to prevent contamination
Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are sanitized and organized for easy access
Follow health and safety procedures consistently to promote a safe working environment

Skills




Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending
Basic cooking skills or willingness to learn cooking techniques and meal prep processes
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
Good communication skills to work effectively within a team setting
Familiarity with food industry practices related to sanitation, hygiene, and safety regulations
