We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to oversee daily dock operations for an LTL transportation company. The ideal candidate will have solid LTL experience, excellent freight-handling skills, and extensive counterbalance forklift experience.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily dock operations.
Oversee the loading and unloading of LTL freight from trailers.
Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move and position freight.
Ensure freight is properly sorted, staged, loaded, and secured.
Coordinate with drivers and dock staff to ensure efficient freight movement.
Verify shipments and ensure freight is handled accurately and safely.
Assist with trailer loading and unloading as required.
Monitor dock activities and ensure company safety procedures are followed.
Provide direction and support to dock employees.
Communicate with supervisors, drivers, and other team members regarding shipment and dock requirements.
Help resolve day-to-day dock and freight-handling issues.





Requirements
Minimum 2 years of LTL transportation TEAM LEAD experience.
Minimum 2 years of counterbalance forklift experience.
Valid forklift licence/certification is required.
Solid freight-handling experience.
Previous Team Lead or leadership experience is required.
Positive English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dock environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to lead a team effectively.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
