Beer Sales Representative | Vancouver Island

Overview

An independent craft brewery located in the mid to north Vancouver Island region is looking for a personable, motivated Beer Sales Representative to grow our presence across Vancouver Island.

You’ll be the face of our brewery, building lasting relationships with customers, supporting existing accounts, and introducing our beer to current venues. We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes initiative, and shares our enthusiasm for quality beer and community.

Duties
Grow sales across Vancouver Island by identifying new business opportunities and developing existing accounts.
Build robust relationships with liquor stores, pubs, restaurants, and other licensed venues.
Conduct regular account visits, introduce products, and follow up on orders and sales opportunities.
Coordinate product placements, promotional displays, and partnerships within brewery guidelines.
Organize tastings, provide product information to account staff, and represent the brewery at events.
Track sales performance, maintain accurate customer records, and use market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
Respond promptly to customer questions and resolve issues with care.




Work closely with the brewery team to coordinate orders, product launches, and promotions.

Qualifications
Sales or business development experience, ideally in craft beer, beverages, hospitality, or consumer goods.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and lasting relationships.
Valuable organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
Confidence working independently, planning account visits, and managing a sales territory.
Comfort using sales data and customer management tools to track progress.
An interest in craft beer and Vancouver Island’s food and drink community.
A valid driver’s licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel throughout Vancouver Island.
Availability for occasional evening and weekend events.

Existing relationships with Vancouver Island accounts would be an asset.
