Job Summary:

We are a Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer in Southwestern Ontario, looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. Moldmaker) responsible for the construction, maintenance, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of precision injection molds, tooling, fixtures, and related components used in manufacturing operations. This role ensures molds and tooling operate efficiently, safely, and within required quality specifications to support production requirements.
Build, assemble, fit, and test current molds, tooling, fixtures, and components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing molds and tooling.
Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues affecting quality, productivity, or equipment performance.
Diagnose tooling defects and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical documentation.
Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring equipment.
Assist with mold tryouts, testing, and validation activities.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality,



and Maintenance teams to resolve tooling-related concerns.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, modifications, and tooling history records.
Recommend tooling improvements to increase reliability, quality, and operational efficiency.

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
