We're looking for a skilled HR Generalist with strong shop-floor experience in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment located near Montreal, Quebec.

Pay - $80 - $85K

Hybrid role in Laval 4 days per week in office.

Responsibilities:
Manage new hire paperwork, onboarding, orientations, and employee documentation.
Lead recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and processes.
Maintain employee records and HR transactions in Workday and related systems.
Support advantages administration and employee verification requests.
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
Handle employee relations matters and escalate complex issues when required.




Support employee reviews, training, surveys, and other HR initiatives.
Assist with workforce planning and organizational initiatives.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and solid communication with employees and leadership.

Qualifications:
3+ years of HR experience required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Ability to work effectively with teams across multiple locations.
Qualified fluency in both French and English.
