Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Level ll Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a robust understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.

Duties
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical treatments
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
Take digital radiographs (X-rays), intra-oral images, and digital scanning with the iTero scanner
Manage patient records efficiently using dental software TRACKER would be an asset
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Support front desk operations by greeting patients and managing patient flow
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for daily procedures

Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply




Familiarity with Tracker software is highly desirable
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations
Robust knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication

Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II from an accredited Canadian program
NDAEB certified
Knowledge of orthodontics/Invisalign, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization processes

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
