Duties
Prepare pizza dough from scratch or using pre-made bases, ensuring consistency and quality in every pie
Select and measure fresh ingredients such as sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and herbs to craft flavorful pizzas
Operate ovens and other kitchen equipment safely to cook pizzas to perfection with proper timing and temperature control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols
Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
Serve pizzas promptly to ensure hot and fresh delivery to customers or dining area
Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant procedures to uphold hygiene standards at all times
Qualifications
Prior experience in food preparation or food service is highly preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards within the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making and general kitchen operations
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food safety, and restaurant procedures
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
