Job Summary

We are seeking a Respite home for 10 year old girl with down syndrome for weekends who is compassionate. This will be from Friday after school until Sunday afternoon. Duties
Provide attentive supervision and companionship to the child during scheduled respite periods
Assist with daily routines including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs
Administer medications accurately as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Support developmental activities, playtime, and educational engagement to stimulate growth.




Monitor health status, observe for any changes or concerns, and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare providers when necessary

Experience
Prior experience in assisted living or home care environments working with children or individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and hygiene support
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for mobility assistance or equipment handling
Solid caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and positive communication
Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans and safety protocols
