Berwick Home Hardware Building Centre located in the Annapolis Valley is looking for a full time Cashier.

Tasks pertinent to the Cashier position;
Greet customers as they enter the store
Acknowledge customers as they leave the store
Ensure customers have a pleasant shopping experience
Participate in promotional activities
Operate cash register
Balance cash and totals
Scan items and tabulate total payment for goods and services provided
Process transactions involving money; credit cards/debit cards
Suggestive selling
Participate in stocking shelves on truck arrival days
Keep counter, cart, and foyer area swept and clean




Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate department
Use price scanner, interact machine

While previous experience is not required it would be beneficial to the position.

Job Types: Permanent, Full time

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
