Counter Staff – New Store Opening

Szechuan Express – Bramalea City Centre, Brampton, ON

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $17.60–$25 per hour

We are hiring friendly and reliable Counter Staff for our new Szechuan Express location at Bramalea City Centre.

This role is a outstanding fit for someone who enjoys working with customers and can stay organized in a busy food court workplace. Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred, but training can be provided.

What You’ll Do:
Greet customers and provide friendly service
Take orders accurately and efficiently
Answer questions about menu items
Serve food and package orders
Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
Keep the counter and service area clean and organized
Restock utensils, packaging, and other supplies
Assist with opening and closing duties
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Work efficiently during busy periods
Support other team members as needed

What We’re Looking For:
Previous restaurant, food court, cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
Good communication and customer service skills




Comfortable speaking English with customers
Mandarin, Chinese, or Filipino language skills are an asset
Friendly, dependable, and punctual
Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments
Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Availability:
Full-time and part-time positions available
Day and evening shifts
Weekend availability required
Flexible availability is preferred
