We have the following shifts available

Day-6:30 AM - 03:30 PM

Afternoon-1:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Duties and Responsibilities
Adjust water levels depending upon level of production
Set up and adjust equipment for optimal effectiveness and operate machinery safely.
Clean areas as you work and at the end of each shift.
Accurately record data such as lot #'s and recipes.
Ensure quality of pitas and lavash i.e. colour, size, shape etc.
Check products for defects and perform corrective machine adjustments as necessary.
Ensure ingredients are used in a FIFO system.
Operate line within the operating parameter provided.
Document corrective action taken for/out of control process.
Verify production quality with Team Lead.




Ensure that GMP's are practiced and abide by WHMIS practices.
Follow colour coding system to prevent cross-contamination.
Label ingredient containers properly with description and lot codes.

Requirements:
Previous food industry experience
Experience as a line operator in food processing.
Problem solving skill with independent judgments.
Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs.
Positive English communication
Familiar with HACCP policies.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $21.37 per hour

Experience:
Line operating : 2 years (preferred)
Food Industry: 2 years (required)
