Grassland Health Centre is seeking a dedicated Recreation Worker to join its Recreation Department. This full-time position includes 14 shifts over 3 weeks, working during the day and weekends. Ideal candidates will bring one year of healthcare experience along with effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to support a diverse group of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engaging activities for clients’ quality of life
• Support mental, emotional, and physical health through recreation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor activities
• Work independently with special needs clients
• Maintain accurate documentation of client participation
Requirements:
• One year experience in a healthcare environment
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Valid driver's license when necessary
