Maritime Welding is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This is a hands‑on position involving a variety of tasks, including sandblasting, painting, cleaning, material handling, packaging, and general shop support.

The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to learn new skills. Previous industrial, manufacturing, or construction experience is an asset but training can be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform sandblasting and surface preparation of parts and equipment
- Assist with painting and coating operations
- Clean work areas, equipment, tools, and materials
- Perform material handling using appropriate equipment and secure lifting techniques




- Prepare products and materials for shipping and packaging
- Assist with general shop duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in a shop, industrial, manufacturing, construction, painting, or sandblasting environment is an asset
- Ability to work safely around tools, equipment, paints, and abrasive materials
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail
