Pizza Bianca and Café is opening soon and seeking a vibrant team as a Barista and Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every guest. Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling responsibilities with integrity
Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions, and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or snacks following food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations




Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
Min 1+ year of barista or café experience (specialty coffee experience is an asset)
Strong latte art skills (portfolio is an asset)
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures (Food Safe 1 is preferred)
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as serving and food preparation
