We are looking for an experienced part-time pharmacy assistant to join our dynamic, locally owned and operated group of Pharmacies in Norwood/Hastings area.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety.
Manage inventory levels by receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and organizing medication supplies efficiently.
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering guidance on over-the-counter products, and directing patients to appropriate resources.
Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and recordkeeping for prescriptions and patient interactions.
Support medication dispensing processes under supervision,
ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards within the pharmacy environment to protect both staff and patients.
Collaborate with healthcare specialists to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery for optimal patient outcomes.
Skills
Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a must
Proven pharmacy assistant experience demonstrating familiarity with medication handling and pharmacy procedures.
Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations.
Blister packaging assembly
Ability to assist with medication preparation accurately and responsibly.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and documentation effectively.
