We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and personable individual to host the sales centre for a new residential community in Cobourg, Ontario.

This is not a sales position. Your role will be to welcome visitors, provide general information about the community, and ensure everyone who visits has a positive experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone local to Cobourg who is looking for a relaxed, part time weekend position, including post-secondary students, retirees, or anyone seeking supplemental income.

The position is temporary, with an initial commitment of approximately two months and the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities
Open, host, and oversee the sales centre during scheduled weekend hours.
Greet visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
Provide basic information about the new home community using reference materials and information sheets provided.
Distribute brochures, floorplans, and other marketing materials to interested visitors.
Collect visitor contact information for follow-up by the sales team.
Maintain a simple record of visitor traffic and inquiries.




Prepare and email a brief traffic report at the end of each weekend.
Keep the sales centre presentable and welcoming.

Qualifications
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
Strong interpersonal and basic communication skills.
Comfortable answering phone calls and interacting with the public.
Basic computer and email skills.
Ability to organize and submit easy weekly reports.
Familiarity with Cobourg and the surrounding area is an asset.
Previous experience or general knowledge of residential real estate is a bonus, but not required.

No real estate licence or sales experience is necessary. All relevant community information and reference materials will be provided.

Position Details

Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Location: On-site at a recent residential development sales centre in Cobourg at the Northumberland Mall (next to Metro).

Duration: Approximately two months initially, with the possibility of an extension.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
