NOW HIRING – WINTER SIDEWALK & ICE CONTROL WORKER

GroundTek Fencing Solutions | Sackville, NB & Surrounding Areas

GroundTek is looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our winter operations team for the upcoming snow season.

This position focuses on keeping walkways, entrances and pedestrian areas secure during winter weather, along with delivering salt and ice melt to customers.

Job Responsibilities
Shovel snow from sidewalks, walkways, stairs and building entrances.
Apply salt and ice melt to prevent slippery conditions.
Refill salt and ice melt bins at customer properties.
Deliver salt and ice melt to residential and commercial customers.
Load and unload bags of salt and other materials.
Operate snow blowers and other small snow-removal equipment.
Help maintain equipment and keep work areas organized.




Follow assigned routes and complete work safely and efficiently.

Requirements
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in cold weather.
Able to lift and carry bags of salt and ice melt.
Available for on-call work during snowstorms, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Valid driver’s licence is an asset.
Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not required.
