We are looking for an experience CNC Router Table Operator to join an award winning company in Oakville, for LED Display manufacturing.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm – enjoy a 3 day weekend!
OR
Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday 7:00am- 7:30pm (36 hours, increased to 40 hours with perfect attendance)
Pay starts at $21/hour and up, depending on experience
Duties of the role will include:
- – Follow and understand safety procedures and company policies including use of personal protective equipment
- – Responsible for the preparation and operation of CNC router table for production requirements
- – Read and interpret production drawings
- – Prepare and load raw materials (typically sheet aluminum) onto router table for processing
- – Ability to load and manipulate .dxf file formats using AutoCAD and router software
- – Responsible for optimizing parts layout to maximize yield for a given sheet size and part flat pattern
- – Perform initial tooling set‑up and changeovers
- – Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements
- – Accountable for the deburring of routed components
- – Organize finished goods by grouping and tagging parts by work order number
- – Responsible for preventive maintenance activities on equipment to ensure protected and efficient operation of the router
