Requirements & Qualifications:
Valid Tool & Die Maker Certificate of Qualification (COQ).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or automotive setting;
experience with progressive and transfer presses/dies is an asset.
Robust mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in machining and tool-making equipment, including lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and welding tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
Experience with die maintenance, including assembly, disassembly, grinding, welding, and preventative maintenance.
Physically capable of handling heavy lifting (30+ lbs) and operating overhead cranes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work workplace.
