This role allows you to build authentic relationships with Kaska Dena students and community elders while fostering greater community involvement. Your contributions will greatly impact the educational journey of our students by promoting Yukon First Nation culture and worldview in the classroom. Key Responsibilities:
Create positive learning experiences for school-aged students
Foster relationships with Kaska Dena community members




Collaborate with fellow educators on programming
Integrate Yukon First Nation culture into lessons
Follow and execute instructions with minimal supervision Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Preferred experience with school-aged students
Maintain a positive RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check
Solid communication skills and respect for cultural values
Physical ability to perform required duties Support Yukon’s educational transformation and inspire change as a Teacher on Call in Ross River.
