R&A; Stairs Ltd is seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented individual to fill a full-time stair manufacturer (assembler) position at our custom stair and railing company located in Newmarket, ON - family owned and operated for 40 years.

Main duties include include the manufacturing of various wood stair components (treads, risers, stringers, etc.) and the assembly of said components into complete stair systems. Secondary duties include occasional deliveries, installation assistance and maintaining a tidy work area.

Requirements:
Previous stair manufacturing, carpentry and/or construction experience.
Experience with basic woodworking hand tools, power tools and measuring tape.
Experience working with heavy machinery (feed saws, jointers, planers, etc.)
Ability to read work orders and cut lists
Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs +)
Driver’s licence and clean abstract

We don't just build stairs; we produce architectural features. If you have a background in custom carpentry and can read detailed shop drawings, we want to talk! Pay: $19.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 55.0 per week
