Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming setting. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on coffee and beverage service.

Prior barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated applicants. The position involves working in a quick-paced setting where excellent time management and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with health regulations
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly
Manage serving duties efficiently during busy hours to minimize wait times




Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and presentation
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and cashiering procedures
Follow all safety protocols related to food safety and food handling regulations

Experience
Previous experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista is required
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in serving, food preparation, and cash handling is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable
