Support students with learning difficulties as a Special Education Technician with the Current Frontiers School Board. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective educational strategies.

In this on-call role, you will develop and execute individualized education plans for students with special needs. Key responsibilities include assisting with educational activities, observing student behavior, and working closely with faculty and family to enhance student outcomes. You will implement tailored interventions and provide important support services within the classroom workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and assess individualized education plans with your team
Conduct and organize educational and recreational activities




Assist students with their lessons and homework
Supervise students during necessary interventions
Record observations and maintain student files

Requirements:
Diploma in special care counseling or equivalent
Experience creating IEPs and working with special needs students
Knowledge of intervention techniques for challenging behaviors
Bilingual communication skills required
First aid certification and up-to-date training
