Acuren is seeking a Skilled Labourer to enhance our sour gas corrosion testing lab in Calgary, AB. This role supports machinists with vital tasks including material handling and machine setup. You will assist machinists in preparing and organizing materials, setting up machines, and maintaining a clean work workplace. Emphasis will be placed on safety procedures and operational standards while contributing to high-quality corrosion test specimens. Key Responsibilities:
Assist machinists with daily tasks and material prep
Safely load, unload, and transport tools and components




Measure and mark materials for machining under supervision
Prepare, label, and organize test samples and components
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Willingness to start a Machinist apprenticeship
Previous experience in manufacturing or machine shop is an asset
Capable of using basic hand and power tools
