At Gateway, we are looking for a dynamic and energetic Lounge Server who enjoys engaging with guests and enhancing their dining experience. You'll need at least two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting, strong cash handling skills, and a knack for promoting events. Your role is crucial in maintaining expert knowledge of our products and actively participating in promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain expert knowledge of dining products and promotions
• Take, expedite, and serve food and drinks promptly
• Engage in promotional efforts via social media and events
• Introduce live entertainment when necessary
Requirements:
• Minimum two years in a similar restaurant environment
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems
• Serving It Right/Proserve/Smart Serve certification preferred
• Solid public speaking and selling skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
