Accountant role emphasizes ownership of a portfolio of 15–25 properties and accurate financial reporting. Our client is a privately held organization focusing on purpose-built rental communities across Southern Ontario. As the property management platform evolves, they seek an experienced Property Accountant to enhance their team-oriented accounting team.

You'll be tasked with overseeing the entire accounting process for your portfolio while working closely with the Accounting Manager, an additional Property Accountant, and the operations team. Key Responsibilities:
Manage month-end close and reconcile bank statements




Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
Oversee cash management and budgeting processes
Work with Yardi Voyager for accounting tasks
Support year-end financial reporting and analysis Requirements:
3–5+ years of experience in property accounting
Proficient in Yardi Voyager and accounting fundamentals
Degree or diploma in accounting preferred
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Robust communication and collaboration skills Take ownership of property accounting and contribute to a growing real estate organization in North York.
