We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Healthcare Aide/Caregiver to provide ongoing on-on-one care and companionship to a senior currently living in a hospital setting in Banff. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and genuinely interested in building a trusting relationship while providing consistent, long-term support. Previous experience caring for seniors or working in a similar caregiving role is required. A nursing or healthcare background would be considered a strong asset. This position offers adaptable scheduling, with an ideal commitment of at least 20-30 hours per week. Full-time hours may also be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with personal hygiene and daily care, including grooming and other personal needs
- Provide feeding and mealtime assistance
- Offer companionship and social interaction




- Observe the senior's general well-being and communicate any concerns appropriately
- Provide consistent and dependable care in accordance with the senior's needs
- Work respectfully alongside hospital staff, family members, and other care providers as appropriate

Ideal Candidate

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Aide, Caregiver, Personal Support Worker, Nurse, or in a similar senior-care role
- Nursing or other healthcare background is highly preferred
- Experience working with seniors
- Banff based
- Reliable, compassionate, and respectful approach to care
- Comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and feeding
- Interested in a long-term caregiving position
- Flexible Schedule
