Blue Cross Pet Hospital is looking for a registered veterinary technician to join our friendly and hardworking team. We are a busy, independently owned, 2 doctor practice in East Vancouver focused on providing excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will
love working with animals and people,
be able to multitask and work well within a team,
have excellent communication skills,
maintain compassion, empathy and professionalism during high-stress situations.

Job responsibilities include:
providing basic comfort and nursing care and keeping accurate medical records,
blood and urine sample collection/handling, IV and urinary catheter placement and maintenance,
subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular injections;
general bandaging/wound care,
anesthesia induction and monitoring (with doctor direction), intubation and extubation;
always maintaining a high standard of patient care

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour

Experience
veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
RVT certification (required)
