We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with our rehabilitation professionals to provide support and assistance to patients during their recovery process. Duties
Assist in providing direct patient care under the supervision of rehabilitation specialists
Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes to the rehabilitation team
Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
Provide support during therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and assisting with documentation

Skills
Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desired




Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation procedures
Knowledge of the long term care settings and procedures
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
