Mangrove Lithium is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join the Production team in Tilbury. This role involves working with advanced chemical processing and water treatment equipment while supporting the commissioning of new production lines. Ideal candidates will bring technical expertise and a commitment to safety in handling chemicals and heavy industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in commissioning recent production equipment
• Operate SCADA / HMI systems for process control
• Prepare chemical batches and monitor filtration systems
• Perform start-up/shutdown procedures and trial runs
• Maintain safety and environmental standards actively
Requirements:
• 3+ years in chemical manufacturing or heavy industry
• Solid understanding of chemical safety and handling protocols
• Experience with SCADA systems and industrial equipment
• Ability to read P&ID; schematics
• High school diploma with math and chemistry fundamentals
