Become a vital part of GMS Canada's receiving team in Nanaimo, BC. This role focuses on handling incoming freight, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining inventory control. As a Receiver with GMS Canada, you will oversee all incoming freight, check merchandise deliveries, and operate a forklift to unload products.

Your attention to detail will assist in maintaining an effective safety culture and high customer service standards. You will also prepare paperwork for payables and resolve any product damages. Key Responsibilities:
Check incoming merchandise for accuracy and damages
Process and receive freight into the inventory system
Tag products for special orders and maintain cleanliness
Operate a forklift safely for unloading freight
Manage product transfers to other locations Requirements:
Minimum of two years relevant experience preferred
Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of building supplies is an asset
Effective communication skills in English
