The Lab

Technician will execute essential tasks, including performing phlebotomy, managing specimens, and ensuring laboratory efficiency. You’ll rotate through various work areas and utilize your expertise in quality control and customer service. A commitment to previous experience with laboratory protocols and systems is crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
Perform phlebotomy in multiple departments
Register and verify specimens in the LIS system
Conduct pre-analytical procedures, including centrifugation
Sort and deliver specimens to respective workstations
Respond to customer inquiries and assist with SOP revisions Requirements:
Completion of Laboratory Technician program
Certification from OSMT or CSMLS (within 6 months)
Proven experience with venipuncture in various age groups
Strong computer skills with LIS familiarity
