Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space to promote hygiene and well-being
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental health
Help with transfers and heavy lifting using proper techniques to prevent injury




Document care activities accurately in client records and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising staff

Skills
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments preferred
Robust patient care skills with a compassionate, respectful approach towards clients of all ages and abilities
Knowledge of dementia care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities or special needs
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting clients with mobility or transfers
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Reliable and detail-oriented with the ability to follow care plans precisely
Basic knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
