Job Summary

Here at Hanna Pharmasave, we are seeking a part time Pharmacist to cover a parental leave with the option of continual employment, starting in December. Schedule can be discussed based on your availability and personal preference. As a small, independent pharmacy, we focus on building strong relationships with patients and providing the personalized service that makes a community pharmacy feel welcoming and keeps patients coming back. We're a NO methadone, NO compounding pharmacy.

Duties
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and answering questions
Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions using medical terminology expertise
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or suggest alternative therapies when necessary
Order medications as needed,



and ensure proper storage conditions are maintained
Support patient care initiatives
Help in smooth dispensary operation through answering phone calls and entering data into computer

Skills
Proficient with computers and Kroll (required)
No minimum years of experience required, but this is a highly autonomous role.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on safety and confidentiality

Current pharmacy hours:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sundays: Closed

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
