Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a quick-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols




Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
Familiarity with kitchen equipment
Positive communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in meal preparation
Experience with serving customers or food service operations is a plus
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control

This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, consistent food quality, and a clean, safe, and organized work setting. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
