We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues efficiently. The Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and clean workplace for all staff and visitors.
Duties
Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
Conduct inspections on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during work activities.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and projects.
Requirements
Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or related fields preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general carpentry skills is highly desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.
Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between sites or facilities.
Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times.
DZ license to assist with picks ups and deliveries between the winery and offsite warehouse would be an asset.
